EverestLabs, in partnership with the Can Manufacturers Institute (CMI), has implemented AI-powered robotics to increase recycling rates for used beverage cans (UBCs) at a material recovery facility (MRF) in California. The CMI funded the EverestLabs robot, which is on track to capture over 1 million UBCs annually.
